Substitute Teacher

New York State Certification in Education; Must be willing to work with and seek to increase sensitivity and competency in working with clients with diverse characteristics and backgrounds; Must be willing and able to participate in the supervision of all paraprofessional staff that works in the classroom.

Orchard School Teaching Assistant (2)

High School Diploma and at least six college credits; must be Certified as a Teaching Assistant by New York State (new employees must be certified with in 1 year from hire date). Life Skills Specialist

High School Diploma with a minimum of two (2) years of work experience with children. Must have good oral and written communication skills; experience and ability to do minor repairs and cottage maintenance/housekeeping; Must be able to restraint or assist in the restraint of a child; be able to communicate effectively with staff and provide appropriate supervision of children.

Therapeutic Parent Aide

Yonkers

Associate’s Degree with two (2) years of experience working with children and families in a community setting. Must have strong oral and written communication skills; knowledge of basic computer systems and navigate the internet; knowledge of county resources valued; Must have good oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish; have a valid NYS driver’s license in good standing.

Recreation Therapist

Yonkers

Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation with CTRS Certification (or eligibility), Red Cross Lifeguard Certification (or eligibility), Project Adventure Certification (or eligibility) OR three or more years experience in the field. Must have strong oral and written communication skills, be organized, have experience working with children in a residential setting. Must have the physical capacity to restrain or assist in the restraint of a child and be able to communicate effectively with staff and to provide appropriate supervision of children.

Milieu Therapist (2)

Bachelor’s Degree in a human services related field with no prior related experience OR an Associate’s Degree with three (3) years of experience working with children who have emotional disabilities OR a High School Diploma with five (5) years experience working with children who have emotional disabilities. Must have strong oral and written communication skills; have physical capacity to restrain or assist in the restraint of a child and ability to communicate effectively with staff and to supervise residents.

Bilingual Staff Psychotherapist

White Plains, Yonkers and Peekskill locations

New York State LMSW or LCSW with relevant experience with children, adults and families; must have knowledge of and experience with multiple modalities of psychotherapeutic intervention and knowledge of Evidence Based Treatment; must have strong computer skills and knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (EMR); must have excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish; driver’s license in good standing.
