Support Our Work
Thousands of children, youth, and families throughout Westchester and the Greater New York area each year receive help and guidance through the services provided by our Campus, Community, and Mental Health Divisions. Nationally and internationally, our Sanctuary Institute is changing the face of human service delivery.
We depend on your support to sustain our high quality programming and innovative initiatives. Below you will find many different ways you can contribute to Andrus’ work on behalf of children and their families.
Our Campus Programs help children and families build brighter futures by providing a safe environment where children can learn to manage their emotions and understand and deal with loss. Through our award-winning Orchard School, Residential Treatment Program, and Clinical Services, our children and their families find pathways toward serenity and renewed hope. Mental Health Services
The primary aim of Andrus’ Mental Health Services is to ensure that the children we serve have the opportunity to grow up happy, healthy and strong. We do this by providing direct individual child and family intervention, by supporting parents and caregivers, and by helping children and their families build on their unique strengths while managing the challenges they face. Sanctuary is a blueprint for change that promotes safety and recovery from adversity through the active creation of a trauma-informed community. The Sanctuary Model® has been effective with children and adults across a wide range of human service organizations, including residential treatment centers, public and private schools, domestic violence and homeless shelters, community-based programs, foster care programs and drug and alcohol treatment centers. To support the Sanctuary Institute click here.
